Baby Bee
Baby Bee takes place on Friday mornings every 2nd and 4th week of the month, from 10.30-12.30
Baby Bee is a FREE group for pregnant mums and those with newborns (up to -6ish months) in the ABC lab. The aim of the group is to provide a quiet and calm space for you and your babies, and to connect with others in the local and wider community.
Come and meet with others with newborns and chat over tea + coffee in our special baby room. We’ll also be able to look after older siblings if that helps in our children’s play room (adjacent to the baby room) giving you some time together with your new baby.
In 2023 Research Assistants who are undergraduate student volunteers will help run the group under the supervision of the Lab Manager, Geraldine Brown, and PhD student, Jasmine Rodriguez. We will be meeting and greeting and showing you to the lab, serving hot drinks, and supervising any accompanying older siblings in our children’s play area.
Start date early Spring 2023
More info about the background to the group can be found here: Meeting the challenges of public engagement, research impact, and research participation as a baby and child lab – University of St Andrews (st-andrews.ac.uk)
